Finally back at home

Hey guys... Sorry for not updating entries to this blog lately. Been kinda busy fixing this computer at home to be able to come online. :)

I just got this computer back from an old friend to format it. Now feeling so good with virus free! :)

Anyway, I will update as much as possible of the days I had my attachment with LG Architects & Associates and my life in Singapore very very soon. Coz I needa do some editing work on the pictures too~ Hehe.

Currently at LG Architects & Associates, Singapore

Hey guys... Sorry for late updates...

I'm currently doing my internship in LG Architects & Associates, Singapore, an architect firm with 8 staffs including myself and the boss. The firm is just right in front of the Lavender MRT station, so it's quite convenient for me as I travel by MRT.

Things here are quite OK, not so bad, just that I now fully understand how working life is like. And it's not nice at all, making me missing my studio life badly.

Everyday, I count my days (sometimes hours and even minutes!) until the day is over. Honestly, I prefer to do my work in my campus studio instead of in the office here (especially in Singapore) . Everything is so restricted here! I understand the formality of being an adult, but it's hard to make my life more interesting. Sigh. Am still trying my best to find other ways to cheer my days up though...

Basically, my life here is like this --> LRT, MRT, AutoCad, MRT, LRT. And this has to be repeated for the next 47 days! Help!!!

And that's why, everyday, I just hope weekends come faster and everything will end soon so that I can have full hibernation at home soon. Tired with HUMAN.

Anyway, I can't wait for 29th of May to come. Coz I'm gonna get iPod Touch! Yeepee! BUT! This will only be confirmed this coming Saturday as I will go Changi Airport to check on that.

The Great Sale of Singapore will start on 29th May until July. For this, tourists (who take flights into Singapore) can buy some of the items listed half price! One of the items is iPod Touch! With original price S$388 down to just S$194! And this over is only for the first 250 customers so I gotta be fast!

However, since I don't get a training pass form the Ministry of Manpower, I only got a stamp from the ministry in my passport mentioning I'm doing practical training at my firm. So that is why I need to go to Changi Airport to confirm whether I can get the iPod Touch half price. The guy at Wheelock Place (this is the only place got this promotion) told me that I have to buy the iPod Touch with the original price at their store then will only get the rebate of another half price back at the airport. Fussy eh?

Besides, with the stamp in my passport, I can't get out of Singapore for period I work here. And there are so many nice movies gonna out soon! And everyone is going back JB to watch movie coz it's cheaper comparing watching in Singapore! Sigh. Due to this, I don't have anyone accompanying me watching movie also. Sad. See how miserable my life here.

Anyway, it's 10.30am already and I think I better get back to my work then. Feeling so miserable making me no mood to work at all. Sigh.

Everything is finally over!!!

Finally finally finally, the portfolio for this sem is over, which means that this sem is officially over!!!

Man, this sem is so damn exhausting. From the day of assessment until now, I haven't got the chance to sleep for more than 8 hours straight.

Was just done with Portfolio this morning. Supposed to be done yesterday afternoon but have no idea why the panels took so long at the other workbases.

With the hard work, the outcome wasn't that bad afterall. Am just very very glad that everything is over now and am getting ready for internship in Singapore.

After the portfolio and lunch after that, I got all the stuff moved into the store of the hostel . Now the one thing left to be tidied up is packing for Singapore. Might moving into Singapore tomorrow.

I don't expect much from the intern also, I just hope that everything will go well. The only thing that I'm looking forward to the most now is going back home and have a full hibernating.

From the past few days, I found myself very exhausting and the heart is yelling for a halt for everything. For the 1st time in my whole life, I'm sick and tired of what I'm doing here and now. Worst thing is, I found nothing that I can look forward to for the coming semesters. Except busyness, stress and more headaches. Sigh.

Just, wish me luck lah.

Just wanna be alone for awhile

Just tired, exhausted. Just wanna be alone from any human being for awhile.

I'm sorry if I'm being ignorance to anyone. Just, don't feel like communicating. Just wanna be in my own world for awhile. That's all.

Fuckingly tired

I'm so damn hell tired these few days. So many things to rush with disturbing incidents happens, causing me cursing like crazy.

Been cursing to the top most. Can't help it. Some people are fuckingly pissing me off.

There are some people, being the empty-tin type, who amplifies and portrays so well, are nothing but worst than a shit behind the 'professional' smile always display on their face. Being so intelligently spoken, these type of people won't survive long in this society, because they will be terribly boycotted by the people surrounding them.

It's not wrong for them being so good in talking and convincing people with the speed of the brain to digest the instant information they get; they are unskillful, lazy and pushing the responsible everywhere, but telling the whole wide world that the contributions are their hard work. It's a damn huge lie, OK? I wonder how can a person looks up to his/her pride and heart, saying things that is so not true.

Being aware that people are boycotting and not inviting this type of people along doing the job, they start to do some hustle bustle, showing the hard work they can do. Bullshit. Useless and not down-to-earth will only get people to hate them more. Everyone much prefers these weirdos to sit back, hide themselves instead of walking around, showing the owing-a-big-slap face and bullshitting around.

It's hard to deal with these people though. They are acting like they know everything, instructing people to do this and that while they are so unskillful and have no idea how to manage everything. At the end of the day, they got pissed off because no one listens at all. As for the people surrounding them, they feel glad for not seeing these group of know-it-all supervising around, but at the same time, they feel like idiots working like cows in order to step out for the sake of their pride, and most stupid of all, doing the KIA people's works.

Best occupation for the KNOW-IT-ALLs:

Shoe polisher & Balls holder.

I'm so fuckingly pissed off.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Been rushing for studio 2nd project like crazy these few days. And I only manage to sleep 3 hours everyday. Feel like a dead man walking around. Can't wait for this week to be over.

I'm so easily to get pissed off lately not only because of the KIA people, workload and so lack of sleep, it's also the repeating of daily incident happens everyday until I can't take it much longer. As usual, it's the pride that cannot stand.

Some of the stuff that I did are not appreciated, fine. But there are a lot of things that I'm capable of and INVOLVED in are not consulted by me 1st. Sometimes I really feel like giving a big slap right on the face on this type of people. I'm not talking about in academic area, I mean my life here.

In addition of needing to face this type of people 24 hours everyday, acting like 'Hey, I'm OK with anything because you can just go on without consulting me' is fuckingly exhausting. I'm physically in the group, but behind me, I'm not invited to do anything together.

That's why I always want to have a breakaway from my norm in the campus being with people who, at least don't ignore my existence and appreciate every little thing I do.

OK, enough for me to release the anger kept inside of me for few days already. All I know now is getting a quick lunch then get back to work. I'm so freakingly tired with everything here. I wanna get out. I wanna go back home.

Bits of updates...

Had my assessment done on Monday. Was being able to finish everything up, just that I've been lazy a little though until the panels wanting to fail me for not being able to show some of the important elements in the design I was proposing. Anyway, the result turned out OK though...

Being rushing for the assessment, I didn't sleep much. Like I said, I was able to finish everything up, although still did some changing last-minutely at I-Print, I found that this time I'm quite productive compared to the past semester. So I'm satisfied with my own progress!

Anyway, there are assignment to be submitted within these few days. Sigh. Ok lah, at least I did relax a bit for sacrifying my sleeping hours for Fast & Furious 4 just now. :) And not to forget a nice dinner at Sutera Mall! Hehe.

For Studio... Sigh. There still are some works to be done although the final assessment was over dy. We still haven't finish doing the stupid Punggol Housing compeitition thingy. And Ar. Hong was wanting us to move to the house he rents out for us to have full concentration on rushing for the competition. I really don't wanna move lah... And besides, we still have assignments to rush...

I just hope that this semester will be over soon. Can't wait for intern to end soon too so that I can go home to see my Mom and Dad.

Homesick.

Great night at Cabana

Woke up at 2pm just now. Coz I went back room at 5am last night, I mean, this morning. And now having my… I should say ‘lunch’ now – cup noodle, again.

n79140974128_974

After watching the ‘Lollipop’ at RTM last night, me and Archi juniors and seniors went clubbing at Cabana (the 3rd time me going there, I think…). Never expect of going there though. Forgotten after midnight it would be Sue Wern’s, a final year senior’s birthday.

cabana5

It was hell great there with everyone! Fooh! I should say it was an ‘Archi’ night already. Coz almost all batches of Archi ppl were there: 2nd year, 3rd year (my batch), 4th year, final year and graduated seniors!!! The only left was the 1st year.

It was the first time me clubbing with the other final year students. They really were syiok, man! I really had a great time fooling around with them. Especially with the bitchy b’day girl!

I finished 2 whiskey glasses of Black Label (mixed with Coke of coz) with empty stomach. After half an hour, I ended up in the washroom for quite long, I suppose. I had no idea what the time was because the tummy was like a washing machine dy. Haha… U know I can’t drink one lah. But the 1st glass was very tempting. The Black Label wasn’t strong because the amount of Coke was a lot.

But anyway, I really wanna thank Sze Ling and Jac who accompanied me all the time at the ladies room. Haha. Which… Later on the b’day girl and Lean Sin joined in and bitched around there. Thumb-up to the b’day girl for the way she bitches! :P

After that we continued back to everyone and having fun! Both the 2nd years were so worried about me all the time, keeping on wanting me to sit down, so afraid that I wouldn't feel like wanting to vomit again. Haha. But I was quite steady already lah… ;) (Being able to open up few buttons of sugar daddy’s shirt somemore! – High 5 to Sze Ling!)

We danced until the club closed, around 3.30am, I think. Then we had supper, I should say b’fast, with some of the seniors at Ayub. Then headed back campus after that.

And now… my hair smells like chimney. Sigh.

Ok lah… I had my crave towards liquors done dy. And had enough fun dy. Really wanna get back to work already. The last 2 days really didn’t do much of work though… And tomorrow I’m gonna have my final project presentation to do! Argh…

Anyway, to those who are rushing for final projects, ALL THE BEST Y’ALL! Jia you!

PS: Happy 24th Birthday to SUE WERN!!!
